Start with a tool that builds a bot from uploaded documents and get one working. If the bot needs to look up orders or change customer details, move to a platform where you can build flows.
Build a demo bot
Write twenty common questions and answers for a made-up online store, turn them into a demo bot and put it on a demo page so people can try it.
List a service or bid
Tier your packages by how much material there is and which channels (website, DMs) the bot covers. State who pays for the monthly conversation quota and how often the material gets updated.
Let AI draft, check by hand
Before launch, test with the client's real questions and add material wherever the bot gets an answer wrong. Set actions like refunds or address changes to require human approval. Handle files with personal data only as the client allows, and delete them after delivery as agreed.
